Bathing and Hygiene
Personal hygiene is a critical part of good overall health care. Our caregivers are trained to assist elders in bathing or showering. We also can assist with daily oral care including dentures and partials.
Toileting and Continence
We understand the importance of proper toileting and continence care in maintaining the elder's self-esteem and confidence. We train all caregivers in all aspects of this care and can ensure these activities are completed efficiently.
Ambulation and Transfer Assistance
Mobility is a key part of an Elder maintaining their independence at home. Whether they use a wheelchair, uses a walker, or walk on their own, our caregivers can ensure they move safely and securely inside and outside of the home. We assist with them getting in and out of bed. Our caregivers are trained in using Hoyer lifts and other mobility aids.
Cooking and Meal Preparation
Clients can ensure they get a tasty and nutritious meal by us doing or helping with the cooking.
Shopping and Errands
Grocery shopping, picking up laundry and prescriptions are normal activities of independent living.
Mild Cleaning
Clients will ensure safe and clean environment for the elder's by performing mild cleaning like vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and trash removal.
Laundry
We will wash and fold clothes to ensure the elder is clean and tidy. We will also launder and change bed and bath linens.
Medication Reminder
Our caregivers cannot administer medications but can remind and assist with pre-measured medications.
